Children Inc. Learning Center offers a variety of activities geared to the educational, physical, emotional, and social needs of each child. Children take part in activities geared toward increasing skills and practicing STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, and math), using the Creative Curriculum to plan lessons tailored to the needs of the children in each classroom. These activities are supervised by experienced childcare educators.

• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 6:30 am to 6:00 pm, year-round

Children Inc. Learning Center is a licensed childcare learning center and an Indiana Childcare Licensed Center that closely follows required adult to child ratios, with teacher/child ratios of 1:4 for infants, 1:5 for toddlers, 1:10 for 3-, 4-, and 5-year-olds, and 1:15 for school-age children. It is NECPA (The National Early Childhood Program Accreditation) accredited and a Level 4 Paths to Quality childcare provider, described as a high-quality Paths to Quality Level 4, nationally accredited learning center providing year-round services. The program offers services to infants 6 weeks to 12 months, toddlers age 1 to 3, preschoolers and pre-kindergarten, and after school and full day services while school is not in session to children in kindergarten through age 12. Services are described as designed to give children 6 weeks to age 12 a solid foundation to be productive adults and community members. Children Inc. Learning Center accepts vouchers, CCDF contract, United Way, On My Way PreK, and other scholarship programs when alternative funding sources are available and families qualify. For over 50 years Children Inc. Learning Center has served families in Bartholomew County. The stated mission is that Children Inc. provides a high quality, safe, stimulating, social, emotional and educational foundation for the children in the community, and it welcomes families regardless of economic, social, religious or cultural differences while being committed to providing quality education services to families in Bartholomew County.
