About

The Columbus Police and Fire Youth Academy offers free camps for children ages 6 to 12. Campers take part in obstacle courses, physical fitness exercises, team building events, fire safety, and fire prevention, and they also see fire trucks, specialized police vehicles, and boats.

Programs

Bitty Boot Academy — 6-8 year-olds · 2-day camp; each day 8:00am-3:00pm · Free; participants are expected to attend all days; lunch and an academy shirt are provided at no charge.
Youth Academy — 9-12 year-olds · 3-day camp; each day 8:00am-3:00pm · Free; participants are expected to attend all days; lunch and an academy shirt are provided at no charge.
