Mudsock Youth Athletics Basketball is part of the Mudsock Youth Athletics program, which includes boys basketball and girls basketball along with other sports. The broader organization also offers baseball, esports, cheer, field hockey, football, boys lacrosse, girls lacrosse, pickleball, rugby, soccer, softball, track/cross country, and volleyball.

For over 35 years, Mudsock Youth Athletics has strived to promote character development, leadership and physical fitness through its programming. Mudsock Youth Athletics is a 501(c)3 not for profit organization. It is described as one of the largest volunteer led organizations in the state of Indiana and as a community builder and leader in the youth sports industry. The organization uses the slogan, "10,000 Kids. 12 leagues. 1 Community. No Offseason."
The leadership team includes Executive Director Scott Spillman and Assistant Director Beth Lawrence, along with Bookkeeper Christine Wyatt, Senior League Service Manager Colin McCahill, Operations Manager Morgan Cooper, Customer Service Representative Micci Harris, League Service Specialist Cheryl Evans, and Volunteer Service Coordinator Dava Brown. The board and sport leaders include President Rob Emmerson, Vice President Alyssa Anderson, Treasurer Aaron Brattain, Secretary Ryan Tolle, and At-Large members William Knox (Executive Committee), Sheri Acquisto, Alison Gatz, John Hoffman, Mike Johnson, as well as sport-specific leaders such as Jason Callahan for boys basketball and Beth Duncan for girls basketball.
