About

Academy for Young Achievers includes daily Spanish instruction for infants through Pre-K with a dedicated Spanish teacher, STEM activities, and project-based hands-on investigations. Children take part in outdoor learning and adventures, including planting, tending, and eating tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, and other produce in a garden, and they help prepare fruits and vegetables they grew. The program also offers running, playing, dancing, and exploring in a basketball court-sized indoor gym, as well as Father’s Day celebrations and outdoor barbeque parties.

• Ages: 3–5 years old
• Schedule: 6:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. (MON - FRI)

Teachers at Academy for Young Achievers are educated up to the Master’s level, with certifications up to Master’s Degrees in Childhood Education. The program uses The Creative Curriculum® and the Montessori Method with child-sized furniture and materials in spacious, naturally lit Montessori-inspired classrooms. It offers home-cooked breakfast, lunch, snack, and dinner at no extra cost in a nut-free environment, with meals approved by CACFP, and provides diapers, formula, and wipes for free. The program states a guarantee that children will be kinder-ready and reading at Grade K or 1 level by the time they graduate from preschool.

Academy for Young Achievers uses the free parent app Procare Connect® for daily pictures, videos, and classroom news. It has restricted access controls on all entrances, security cameras monitoring the facility, a ZONO cabinet for sanitizing toys and supplies, and dedicated onsite cleaners with daily sanitization, along with teachers who regularly sanitize toys and learning surfaces. The program offers safe transportation between the Academy and school for before- and after-care and has onsite parking and a dedicated space for breastfeeding.

The mission of Academy for Young Achievers is “To Prepare Each Student For Lifelong Academic Success Through High-Quality Early Childhood Experiences.” The leadership team includes owner Tori Wallace and co-owner radiologist Dr. Keristen Brantley. The program has a Paths to QUALITY™ rating and is part of a select group of early childhood care and education programs from around the world that have shown an exceptional commitment to professional and programmatic quality. Community involvement includes a rewards for referrals program with a free gift card for referring a new family, quarterly events that unite the community such as Father’s Day celebrations and outdoor barbeque parties, and a garden built by one of the community’s families.
