Black Rocket Tech Programs for Kids offers project-based technology summer camps and afterschool programs that include activities such as Creative Design and Robotics Jr., Young Game Designers, YouTube® FX Shorts, Minecraft® Modders, and A.I. Designers & Developers. Additional options include ROBLOX® Coders, YouTube® Content Creators, Beats and Jams: Digital Music Makers, App Attack: Cloud Game Creators, ROBLOX® Makers, Smash Brawler: Make Your Own Platform Fighter Game!, Battle Royale Gamers, and Young Coders. The program also features Python Programmers, Young Investors & Entrepreneurs, Esports Gamers and Streamers, Drone Adventures, JavaScript Developer Jam, Racing Games with Unity, Minecraft® Redstone Engineers, Cyber Spies, Pokémon® Masters: Designers & 3D Makers Unite!, Inventor’s League – Prototyping for the Future!, DROIDS and BOTS, 3D Game Labs with Unity, Adventures in Augmented Reality, App.io, Bricks and Sticks Stop Animation, Code Your Own Adventure! • Schedule: All classes run 9am to 4pm Monday through Thursday; weeks of 6/08 and 7/05 are shortened weeks.
For 20+ years, Black Rocket Tech Programs for Kids has helped summer camps, colleges, recreation centers, schools, and families create and implement tech driven STEM programs for kids ages 6–17. The program offers in-room courses and online courses, including summer camps, STEAM Saturdays, after school programs, virtual programming, tech electives, and in-school offerings, and has celebrated 400,000 students in over 300 locations. One past student said, “It was the first time I felt like I could actually create what I wanted to create…,” and a parent shared, “My children have been taking Black Rocket courses for years and it shows...”. A program director stated, “Every Monday I have a worry list and Black Rocket is NEVER on it.”
