Camps at the Indiana State Museum offers seasonal Winter Break Camps, Spring Break Camps, Summer Camps, and Fall Break Camps that include hands-on activities, discovery, play, and time for campers to spend with friends. Fall Break Camps include themed activities, visits to museum galleries, outdoor recess, and free choice time. The summer camp lineup includes more than 30 single-day and weeklong camps.
• Ages: 4–13 years old
• Schedule: Camps run from 8 a.m.–5 p.m., with free time from 8–9 a.m. and 3:45–5 p.m. for Winter Break and Fall Break Camps, and from 8–9 a.m. and 4–5 p.m. for Spring Break Camps
• Price: $65 per camper per day with a 10% member discount, $5 sibling discount, and $10/day scholarships for Winter, Spring, and Fall Break Camps; Early Childhood Summer Camps cost $30 per camper per day or $130 per camper per week with a 10% member discount and $5 sibling discount; Youth Summer Camps cost $65 per camper per day or $265 per camper per week with a 10% member discount, $5 sibling discount, $10/day scholarships, and $50/week scholarships
The camps are designed to inspire, educate, and provide experiences for children from prekindergarten through eighth grade. Members receive a 10% discount on camp registration fees and access to early registration before nonmembers. The museum’s mission for these programs is to ignite wonder, inspire curiosity, reveal stories, and create connections. The camp program is part of a broader education and engagement team that includes roles such as the Camp Program Manager, Senior Early Childhood Program Manager, Public Programs Manager (family and adult), Gallery Program Manager, Director of Interpretation, VP of Education and Engagement, and other leadership positions.
