Carmel Judo describes itself as a martial arts dojo for all, offering a competitive and family-friendly outlet for fitness and self-defense, and tying instruction to the goal of improving life on and off the mat. The leadership team includes Owner and Head Sensei Jordan Wolf, Director of Operations and women’s and children’s coach Natasha Wolf, kid’s competition coach Robert Coughtrey, competition coach Nick Ormes, Coach Wade for morning adult Judo and adult and kids Jiu Jitsu, Judo Foundations coach Jordan (J2), and assistant coach Ethan for adult and kids Judo and Jiu Jitsu. The program offers a two-class free trial for any Judo classes and provides Judo and Jiu Jitsu training at both dojos, with a tight-knit culture where students support each other in training and competitions. Carmel Judo also hosts many community events inside and outside the dojo for students to bond, hang out, socialize, and build friendships. Testimonials describe the dojo as competition focused with hard training and detailed technical instruction, patient and supportive regardless of experience, and having an environment designed for learning with a mission of getting better every class.
