About

Next 11 Academy offers travel soccer that includes tryouts, training sessions, small-sided games, competitive games, tournaments, keeper training, winter training, and sports performance training. The program uses a comprehensive player development curriculum that consists of five stages and focuses on incorporating games and activities that give players many chances to interact with the ball. Its approach prioritizes the individual player's development over the team's success and includes nurturing each player's technical, tactical, psychological, and physical abilities while aiming to foster creativity and innovation among players.

• Ages: 7–15 years old
• Schedule: Official training begins March 9 with a hybrid model and runs over a 10-month period (Fall25/Winter25/Spring26)

Next 11 Academy is a premier youth soccer club on the Westside of Indianapolis with programs organized into a Junior Academy for ages 7–8, an Academy for ages 9–11, and an Elite Program for ages 12 and older. Club registration fees include training sessions, tournaments, league registration, coach stipends, overhead expenses, administrative tools, coaching education, liability insurance, and player and family outreach. The name “Next 11 Academy” represents the mission to cultivate the next generation of players, the next eleven, and the club is a distinct entity from the Indianapolis-based professional soccer team Indy Eleven.

Next 11 Academy states that talent lives everywhere, but opportunity does not, and its mission is to provide unparalleled coaching to aspiring athletes from all backgrounds with a commitment to excellence and inclusivity while continuously seeking young and ambitious players to grow with the program. The academy understands the financial challenges families may face and actively seeks donations, grants, and organizes fundraisers to offset fees and make travel soccer more accessible.

The leadership team includes Founder and Executive Director of Coaching Tamba Samba and supporter Lauren Holiday, with the founder, Tamba Samba, and the Holiday family having set out to change access to soccer for their community. Tamba Samba is a former Division I soccer player at the University of Notre Dame, currently works as a UX design lead for Salesforce, and is co-founder and CEO of a tech startup, COSA. Lauren Holiday is a World Cup winner, Olympic gold medalist, and an inductee into the National Soccer Hall of Fame. Samba’s achievements include being the first-ever first-team All-State men’s soccer player at Ben Davis, winning the first sectional championship there, earning three monograms for Notre Dame, and being recognized as part of the All-M.I.C Conference 25th Anniversary Team.
