Park Tudor Summer Experience offers weekly camps that include arts and crafts, sports, performing arts, science, literature, Spanish language immersion, chess and gaming, tennis, volleyball, soccer, basketball, baseball, musical theater, art, cooking and baking, STEM, and language programs. From Cub Camp for 3- and 4-year-olds to options for high school students, the program includes athletic options and themed camps inspired by popular music, movies, TV, and pop culture such as Wicked, K-Pop Demon Hunters, Sonic, Disney, and Taylor Swift.
• Ages: 3–18 years old
• Schedule: Weekly camps, with options to attend 1–7 weeks; half-day camps run 9:00 AM–12:00 PM or 1:00 PM–4:00 PM, and full-day camps run 9:00 AM–4:00 PM
• Price: Half-day camps typically $185; full-day camps generally $370; full-day single-subject camps $350; most camps require a non-refundable $55 deposit and Upper School courses for credit require a $100 deposit
All camps and courses are scheduled by the week, with Camp Dates listed as Week 1: June 1–June 5; Week 2: June 8–June 12; Week 3: June 15–June 18 (closed June 19 for Juneteenth); Week 4: June 22–June 26; no camps June 29–July 3 (closed for the Fourth of July holiday); Week 5: July 6–July 10; Week 6: July 13–July 17; and Week 7: July 20–July 24. Morning or all-day drop-off runs 8:20 AM–9:00 AM, morning pick-up is 11:45 AM–12:15 PM, afternoon drop-off is 12:30 PM–1:00 PM, and afternoon or all-day pick-up is 3:45 PM–4:15 PM. Full-day and half-day options are available for students in JK1–Grade 8, and camps are open to all students, whether they currently attend Park Tudor or another school. Before Care is available weekly from 7:30 AM–9:00 AM for students in JK1–Grade 8 for an additional fee and can be registered for during camp registration. Students attending camp from 9:00 AM–4:00 PM need to bring a nut-free lunch and snack daily, and all students must be fully potty trained to attend.
Summer Experience also includes College Essay Writing as a non-credited course open to both current and non-Park Tudor students entering grades 10–11, and a Wellness & Communication course that fulfills both Health and Speech graduation requirements. Hilbert Early Education Center houses Junior Kindergarten and Senior Kindergarten as a 3-year curriculum, and Park Tudor is an independent school for children age 3 through grade 12. Park Tudor emphasizes small class sizes, a safe and caring atmosphere, and numerous extracurricular activities.
Park Tudor has been educating children since 1902. Tudor Hall School for Girls was founded in 1902, Park School began in 1914 as The Brooks School for boys, the name changed to Park School in 1929, and Tudor Hall merged with Park School in 1970 to become Park Tudor School. Park Tudor School follows the NAIS Principles of Good Practice, and its mission is “Developing students who learn and live with purpose.”
The Summer Experience leadership team includes Rachel Dabertin, Director of Auxiliary Programming; Jeff Edwards, Wellness Facilities Assistant and Summer Program Manager; Andrea Calvert-Sanders, Director of Wellness Programs and Facilities, Director of Tennis Operations and Summer Athletics; Carrie Blankenbaker, Teacher – Grade 1; Lili Helmuth, Summer Experience Teacher; and Cynthia Pauszek, Summer School Nurse.
A current student, Jasmine Forrestal ’25, describes Park Tudor as a “second home” after attending for 16 years. Assistant Lower School Director Jamie Salatich states that teachers foster a strong sense of belonging, provide personalized guidance, and that students are consistently challenged and supported to succeed now and in the future.
