Special Olympics Indiana Sports Programs include events and activities such as Summer Games, Fall Games, Winter Games, Basketball Tournaments, Bowling Tournaments, U.S. and World Games, Polar Plunge, Plane Pull Challenge, Law Enforcement Torch Run, Champions Golf Classic, Breakfast With Champions, and the State Conference. The program also offers Young Athletes, Train 4 Life, Healthy Athletes, Unified Fitness Clubs, and Unified Sports, including Unified Sports teams that bring together people with and without intellectual disabilities on the same team.

Officers and athletes rally together to support the Summer Games and raise funds for Special Olympics Indiana through the Law Enforcement Torch Run. The Plane Pull features a tug-of-war competition where teams pull an aircraft. The Champions Golf Classic is described as an annual tradition at one of Indiana’s top public golf courses, and Breakfast With Champions highlights the stories and impact of athletes, coaches, and volunteers in Special Olympics Indiana programs. The annual Indiana State Conference provides training for program leaders, volunteers, and families and features the Spirit of Special Olympics Awards. Volunteers are described as the heartbeat of Special Olympics Indiana, and on event day they can take on roles such as referee, scorekeeper, announcer, or awards presenter.
