The Summer Reading Program tracks reading, audiobooks, reading aloud, or being read to. Prizes are earned at 1, 5, 10, 15, and 20 hours of reading. Registration opens May 1, and prizes can be claimed from May 30 to August 1, 2026.

About the provider
The Summer Reading Program is open to children from birth to 18. Local summer camps, daycares, and schools can register as a group, and families can register at Indianapolis Public Library locations, through Beanstack, or in the Beanstack App.
