TechPoint Youth STEM Programs

TechPoint Youth STEM Programs includes the State Robotics Initiative for K-12 students in Indiana, using an economical, entry-level robotics platform. It also includes STEM Mentors for elementary, middle, and high schools, with local STEM professionals meeting at least one hour per month through classroom instruction, after school, or monthly virtual mentoring sessions. XPLORE is for high school juniors and seniors and uses monthly virtual mentoring sessions.

Programs

• State Robotics Initiative — K-12 students; Indiana student · Provides hands-on learning opportunities in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics to every Indiana student through an economical, entry-level robotics platform.
• STEM Mentors — elementary, middle, and high schools · At least one hour per month; some opportunities during classroom instruction, after school, or through monthly virtual mentoring sessions · Mentoring program connecting talented teachers with experienced STEM professionals to support experiential, hands-on, minds-on curriculum in the classroom.
• XPLORE — high school juniors and seniors · Monthly virtual mentoring sessions · Offers students the opportunity to develop professional skills and discover paths to rewarding STEM careers.

TechPoint Youth has been inspiring students through STEM programming since 2001. It states that it expands access to high-quality STEM learning experiences for underrepresented K-12 students and has reached 70,000 students annually, serves all 92 Indiana counties, and impacts 1 in 4 underserved students in Indiana.

TechPoint Youth is focused on planting the seeds of STEM interest with K-12 students. It is a charitable organization. Applications for the 2026-2027 school year are now open.
