• Ages: 6–18 years old
• Schedule: Class and camp options Monday–Saturday, 9:00 AM–9:00 PM, with Summer Elite CAMPS offered as half-day sessions and Summer Hoop CAMPS offered as all-day sessions with half-day morning and afternoon options.
UNRNKD Hoops Indianapolis Basketball Academy runs an annual program for 3rd–8th grade boys and girls that combines regular skill training and team-based workouts, and also offers a variety of camps and clinics throughout the year, including weekly summer camp options. The training program uses five skill level tiers: White, Yellow, Blue, Red, and Black, with athletes evaluated by a trainer when they enter the gym and placed into a starting level. White Level sessions are for 6–10 year old athletes with little to medium experience who need to build strong foundations and fundamentals, Yellow Level sessions are for 8–13 year old athletes who have foundations and a medium amount of experience, Blue Level sessions are for 10–15 year old athletes who have good fundamentals and have shown competence in Yellow level skills, Red Level sessions are for 13–18 year old athletes who are very experienced, and Black Level sessions are for 16 year old through college level athletes. Planned events throughout the year give athletes chances to level up to the next training tier, and players can move up by completing objective-based basketball skill tests.
Indianapolis Basketball Training groups have an 8-to-1 player-to-coach ratio, Summer Elite CAMPS have a 10-to-1 player-to-coach ratio with higher level coaches, and Summer Hoop CAMPS have a 12-to-1 player-to-coach ratio. Summer Elite CAMPS focus on skill work, basketball IQ, and an uber competitive atmosphere, while Summer Hoop CAMPS focus on fun, games, competition, and skill work. When a new athlete enters the gym, they are evaluated by a coach to determine their starting level and receive a bag, shirt, reversible jersey, and wristbands in the color of that level, and each time they graduate to a new level they receive a new pack of colored gear.
UNRNKD Hoops Indianapolis Basketball Academy is led by Ryan Gold and Jack O’Flaherty, along with a team of other highly regarded basketball development coaches. The program states that, through extensive research and experience working in youth basketball, it has combined a series of programs built to help young hoopers develop proper fundamental skill and basketball IQ to become successful players at all levels, and it emphasizes that rankings are meaningless and that learning and improvement are always the focus. UNRNKD Hoops is part of the Nike Jr. EYBL circuit for its top 7th and 8th grade teams and the Nike EYCL circuit for its top 9th, 10th, and 11th grade teams, which are described as Nike Grassroots basketball leagues that are the top places in the nation to play basketball during April, May, and July and are the most competitive and provide the best exposure to college coaches. NEW ENROLLMENT FOR THE 2026/2027 ACADEMY WILL BEGIN IN MID JUNE!, and the program notes © 2026 All Rights Reserved.
