About
City of Lafayette Aquatics offers swimming lessons, adult lessons, private lessons, summer swim team, middle school swimming, and year round swimming. Swimming lessons are for children from 2 1/2 years to 15 years of age and follow spring and summer session schedules. Adult lessons are one on one based on the participant’s schedule, and private lessons are scheduled around the participant.

- Swimming lessons — Children from 2 1/2 years to 15 years of age · Spring lessons are three days a week; summer lessons are Monday through Thursday for two weeks (8 lessons total) · $120–$140 per session · Spring lessons are $120. Summer lessons are $140. Lessons are held at the Robicheaux Center and, for summer, also at COLA Pinhook Pool.

About the provider
City of Lafayette Aquatics teaches basic swimming skills to children from 2 1/2 years to 15 years of age. Its stated priorities are beginning water safety, respect for the water, and FUN. Lessons are run through Swim America, a national learn-to-swim program operated by the American Swimming Coaches Association.
Spring lessons are three days a week. Summer lessons are Monday through Thursday for two weeks (8 lessons total). A $25 deposit is required to complete registration for lessons, with the remaining balance paid the first day of the session. Adult lessons are set up one on one based on your schedule.
