About
Town of Acton Recreation Department Youth Programs offers a variety of activities, including archery through On the Mark Archery, soccer with Super Soccer Stars on Sundays, and NARA Summer Camp and Camp Hill Top. The program also includes Kids' Night In, Parents Night Out, Hill Top School Vacation Days - No School Program, balance and coordination classes with Lupine Embodyworks, and Garden Therapy with Cathy Fochtman, Master Gardener. Additional offerings include adult sports, intro to candle making, a beach membership from May 24–August 22, 2025, the “I HIKED ACTON TRAILS” challenge, ticketed concerts, and other seasonal programs.

• Schedule: Main Recreation Office hours include Monday–Thursday 9am–3pm and Friday 9am–12pm, with additional posted Recreation Office hours Monday–Friday 9am–3pm
The leadership team includes Recreation Coordinator Mike Collins, Event & Program Coordinator Maura Haberman, and Recreation Registrar Heather Wright, with the Recreation Commission reachable at [email protected]. The department invites enthusiastic volunteers to host programs in areas such as athletics, yoga, painting, and crafts. Families can create an account with the department to provide emergency contacts, allergy information, and other details. A 24/7 drop box is available at the front entry doors of the recreation center for paperwork, and it is checked on business days. Town offices are closed on listed holidays in 2025, and Acton Recreation Department staffed programs and classes are not run on those dates unless noted at registration.
