Hammer & Stain North Shore Kids Arts & Crafts Camps
Hammer & Stain North Shore, 211 Rantoul St, Beverly, MA 01915
About
Hammer & Stain North Shore Kids Arts & Crafts Camps offers kids DIY workshops that include projects such as resin pour workshops and resin sun catchers workshops. The program also connects families with craft-at-home projects and open paint and crafting days and times through the studio.
• Schedule: Summer 2026 Kids Arts & Crafts Camps will be part of St. Johns Prep exploration Camps on June 22–26, July 20–24, and August 10–14.
• Price: Prices for each workshop are based on the type of workshop being offered and typically range from $45 to $85 depending on the options chosen.
Hammer & Stain North Shore is described as the North Shore’s premier DIY craft studio and is open for scheduled workshops and drop-in crafting events only. It offers private workshops where guests can have the whole studio to themselves and hosts corporate workshops both offsite and in the studio. The studio provides guided instruction in a relaxed environment and offers “hammer at home” projects that can be ordered online and picked up at the studio three days later. Guests can bring their own snacks or food to workshops, and beer and wine (but no hard liquor) are allowed only at over-18 adult workshops, with guests consuming alcohol asked to have a designated driver or call a taxi. If a registered guest cannot attend a workshop, options include completing the project during open paint time, receiving a packaged project with instructions and tools to complete at home, or moving the seat and project to a future workshop date for a $20 seat transfer fee, and there are no refunds for workshops due to the custom nature of the projects.
The studio moved to its current address in June 2025. For Summer 2026 Kids Arts & Crafts Camps, Hammer & Stain North Shore will be part of St. Johns Prep exploration Camps.
Parent testimonials describe the studio as having a “fun, creative vibe” with a variety of projects and personal attention to detail for every participant, and mention positive experiences at workshops and private events.
