Derby Academy Auxiliary and Summer Programs

Derby Academy Auxiliary and Summer Programs are connected to Derby Academy, which offers Pre-K through Grade 8 education with small class sizes and a dedicated faculty. The broader school community includes inspired arts, competitive athletics, and more than six theatre productions every year, along with 12 interscholastic sports and athletic clubs. Since 1784, Derby Academy has remained true to its motto, “Improve Both Mind and Heart.” The school is organized into Primary/Lower School (Pre-K–Grade 3), Middle School (Grades 4–5), and Upper School (Grades 6–8). Forty-two faculty members hold advanced degrees.
