LiFEsports includes daily sports and education activities that feature Basketball, Dance, Football, Health & Fitness, Running, Soccer, Baseball/Softball, Volleyball, Frisbee, and tentatively Pickleball. The program provides daily breakfast as a grab-and-go meal and lunch for all youth participants. Each participant also receives a LiFEsports T-shirt and camp awards, along with sports clinics offered throughout the 2024/2025 school year, with dates to be announced.

LiFEsports states its mission as preparing youth for life and leadership through sport development programming. The program reports a 63% increase in interpersonal skills related to self-control, effort, teamwork, and social responsibility, referred to as S.E.T.S., and 92% of participants report using S.E.T.S. at home, school, or in their community. Sports and education activities are led by quality youth development professionals. The LiFEsports program is nationally recognized as a premier model for sport-based positive youth development (PYD). The program notes that most of its work involves impacting the lives of those who need it most and that it strives to address broader social conditions faced by young people, especially those exposed to various social vulnerabilities. The program’s stated vision is to be the national exemplar in sport-based positive youth development programming.
