Youth Programs at Easton Family YMCA @ Peachblossom include access to an indoor rockwall. Participants take part in climbing activities on this indoor rockwall.
• Ages: 5–18 years old
• Schedule: Indoor rockwall available Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 6–8:30pm
The program takes place in a facility that includes a fitness center, gymnasium, cycling studio, two swimming pools, before and after school programs, an interactive fitness room, Stay & Play, and an indoor rockwall. Experienced instructors provide guidance in harnessing, tying in, and give personal instruction for a first climb. The YMCA is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit social services organization dedicated to Youth Development, Healthy Living, and Social Responsibility. People from many different backgrounds volunteer with the YMCA to help strengthen their community. Membership includes privileges at YMCA of the Chesapeake locations in Elkton, Chestertown, Centreville, Denton, Easton, St. Michaels, Cambridge, Salisbury, Pocomoke City, and Chincoteague Island. Y membership also allows access to all Ys in the State of Maryland and participating Ys throughout the country. The YMCA offers over 300 free land and water group exercise classes. Stay & Play service is available for up to two hours per day for children six weeks to ten years old, with a parent remaining on-site. The Y turns no one away due to the inability to pay.
