Full Moon Farm Riding Lessons, Camps, and Youth Programs offers riding lessons, summer camps, birthday parties, eventing, and competitions. The program includes an English riding program, horse trials, cross country riding, and horse boarding for participating families.

Karen and Stephen Fulton have owned and operated Full Moon Farm at its Finksburg location since 1994, and the website states “Celebrating 30 Years of the Area's Finest Horse Facility.” The lesson program’s stated focus is on providing a safe and enjoyable atmosphere in which everyone can learn English riding skills and horsemanship. The farm is described as a family-owned and operated full-service equine facility with a relaxed and friendly atmosphere welcoming riders of all ages and levels from beginners to international competitors, including riders who ride once a week and riders who ride every day and compete across the country.

The leadership team includes Karen Fulton (Owner & Head Trainer), Stephen Fulton (Owner & Farrier), Beryl Chafin (Instructor, Director of Development, & Chateau Coordinator), Ashley Pearman (Office Administrator & Show Secretary), Casey Leffue (Instructor & JEL Coach), Emily Jacobs (Weekend Instructor & NCSSEL Coach), Zellie Wothers (Equitation Instructor & IEA Coach), Katrina Davis (Weekend Instructor), Virginia Burns (Instructor), Julia Zetlmeisl (Substitute Instructor), Savannah “Woodge” Fulton (Clinician), and David Ziegler (Clinician). Staff credentials include degrees in Animal Science, Comparative Animal Nutrition, Equine Studies, Business Management and Marketing, Psychology, Spanish, and Cognitive Science, along with a Horse Master’s certificate, graduation from Oklahoma’s Farrier College, and certification by the International Association of Professional Farriers.

Full Moon Farm is home to the Full Moon Farm Eventing Foundation (FMFEF). Karen Fulton served as the Vice Chair of the Maryland Horse Industry Board from 2009 until 2024 and serves as President of the Full Moon Farm Eventing Foundation, while Stephen Fulton and Katrina Davis serve as board members of the foundation. The farm hosts events such as the FMFEF Spring Festival Fundraiser and horse trials and lists sponsors including equine businesses, local services, and national equestrian brands.

Karen Fulton received the 2024 USEA Cornerstone Instructor’s Award. Savannah “Woodge” Fulton and her horse Captain Jack have competed internationally together up through the CCI 5* level, and she placed 3rd in the 2023 CCI3*-L Eventing National Championships with Cash Point. Zellie Wothers has won multiple medal finals, including the Baltimore County Children’s Medal Finals, Josey Mohler Medal Finals, Virginia Horse Show Association Children’s Medal Finals, and the Southwest Virginia Children’s and Adult Medal Finals, and won an individual National Championship in 2017 in the Intercollegiate Horse Shows Association (IHSA) for Bridgewater College.
