Boys & Girls Clubs of Harford & Cecil Counties – Youth Programs offers activities such as an After School Program, Licensed Child Care, Club on the Go, and a Summer Enrichment Program. Participants can take part in programs including Character & Leadership Development, Keystone, Torch Club, Youth of the Year, Education & Career Development, Power Hour, Career Launch, Junior Staff, and Money Matters. The program also includes Health & Life Skills activities like Smart Moves, Passport to Manhood, and SMART Girls, as well as The Arts through ImageMakers: National Photography Program and the National Fine Arts Exhibit, and Sports, Fitness & Recreation through Triple Play and Badges for Baseball.

The organization’s mission is to inspire and enable all young people, especially those who need them most, to reach their full potential as productive, responsible and caring citizens. It serves more than 7,500 youth annually, ages 6 to 18, and is known for serving more kids, more often. The Clubs are neighborhood-centered and provide programming in specialized areas including character development, educational enhancement, and career exploration. Full-time youth development professionals, trained to implement outstanding programs, staff the program. The Board of Directors won a 2017 Silver Award from the Boys & Girls Clubs of America for engagement and 100% individual contributions in 2016. The Boys & Girls Clubs of Harford County began in 1990 in Aberdeen, Maryland, and the Boys & Girls Clubs of Cecil County was chartered in 1999. Over the past 25 years, services expanded to four Clubs in Harford County, and in 2018 the Harford and Cecil County organizations merged to become the largest Boys & Girls Clubs in Maryland. For 30 years, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Harford & Cecil Counties have developed a reputation for helping kids who need them most.
