Mt. Airy Daycare and Learning Center

Mt. Airy Daycare and Learning Center is a Preschool and Learning Center that serves children through a 2, 3, and 4 year old Preschool Program and an Extended Care Preschool Program for families that desire a full-time preschool with extended hours during the day. The program is family owned and has been privately owned by the Hauptman Family since 1992.

Mt. Airy Daycare and Learning Center has a highly qualified staff that are committed to providing early learning foundations for children using developmentally appropriate practices in the classroom. The program takes pride in low staff turnover and states that it is able to provide consistency, security, and a personal touch to each family, nurturing and valuing each family and child and building relationships to make every family's experience enjoyable, loving, and treasured. The center is licensed with the state’s Office of Child Care (license #47525) and is accredited with the Maryland State Department of Education, participates in Maryland Excels and has earned level 5, and is renewing its state accreditation with the State of Maryland. Mt. Airy Daycare and Learning Center is family owned and has avoided the business structure of larger nationally recognized childcare centers.
