YMCA of the Chesapeake Youth Programs are part of the YMCA of the Chesapeake membership, which includes access to over 300 free land and water group exercise classes. Families in the program can use Stay & Play service for children six weeks to ten years old for up to two hours per day, while a parent remains in the facility or on the premises. Membership also provides reduced rates on swim lessons, day camp, youth sports, and more.

The YMCA of the Chesapeake Youth Programs are offered by the YMCA, which is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization. The YMCA has over 35,000 members and provides programs and services to more than 50,000 people every year. People from many different backgrounds take part in volunteering through the YMCA to help strengthen their community. Membership privileges apply at all YMCA of the Chesapeake locations, and Y membership allows access to all Ys in the State of Maryland and participating Ys throughout the country. The Y turns no one away due to inability to pay and provides over $2,000,000 in financial assistance to over 20,000 participants.
