About

Wilderness Torah Youth Programs offers youth programs that include earth-based teachings and earth-based Judaism in an intergenerational community. The programs are part of Wilderness Torah’s broader offerings, which also include holiday retreats and festivals and online courses. The youth programs are listed for grades 1–12.

• Ages: 6–17 years old

Wilderness Torah’s mission is to promote healing, belonging, and resilience by awakening and celebrating earth-based Jewish traditions through inclusive and intergenerational village-building. Wilderness Torah has joined forces with Adamah to create the Adamah SF Hub, and Adamah SF will continue Wilderness Torah's Bay Area programs while also hosting Adamah's national initiatives locally, including the Jewish Youth Climate Movement for teens, Adamah on Campus for college students, the Jewish Climate Leadership Coalition for organizations, and the Jewish Green Business Network for professionals. One participant described a Wilderness Torah experience by saying, “This is how we were meant to live: In community, in prayer, in harmony with nature. In a world where we’ve wandered too far from our roots, I’m grateful to Wilderness Torah for providing a pathway home.”
