About

Wilderness Torah Youth Programs offers youth programming that is part of a broader set of offerings that include holiday retreats and festivals, online courses, and earth-based teachings. The program is part of Wilderness Torah’s focus on earth-based Judaism and inclusive, intergenerational village-building for young people in grades K–12.

• Ages: 5–18 years old

Wilderness Torah Youth Programs are part of an organization whose mission statement is that Wilderness Torah promotes healing, belonging, and resilience and awakens and celebrates earth-based Jewish traditions through inclusive and intergenerational village-building. Wilderness Torah has joined forces with Adamah to create the Adamah SF Hub, and Adamah SF will continue Wilderness Torah's Bay Area programs while also hosting Adamah's national initiatives locally, including the Jewish Youth Climate Movement for teens and Adamah on Campus for college students, along with initiatives for organizations and professionals. One participant in a Wilderness Torah Passover in the Desert program described their experience by saying, “This is how we were meant to live: In community, in prayer, in harmony with nature. In a world where we’ve wandered too far from our roots, I’m grateful to Wilderness Torah for providing a pathway home.”
