APLUS Education

APLUS Education offers math and writing enrichment, test strategy preparation, AP Boot Camps, college and educational advising, private tutoring, and writing workshops. Students can take courses in elementary mathematics, Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, Calculus, GT Humanities 6, 7 and 8, and preparation for PSAT, SAT, SAT-II, and other tests. Classes take place in small groups, with an average class size of about 9–12 students.

APLUS Education has been serving the Montgomery County, MD community since 1998 and has served more than 25,000 students. All courses are taught by professionally trained teachers who are highly knowledgeable and have many years of experience in teaching their subject matter, including experience in county Magnet and International Baccalaureate programs and at institutions such as National Cathedral School and the University of Maryland. The curriculum is vetted by a group of education directors, updated as needs evolve, and tailored to students from 3rd through 12th grade, with enrichment classes offered during the fall and spring semesters. Private tutoring is available one-on-one or in small groups for students in grades K–12, with 10- and 25-hour tutoring packages available. APLUS Education states that its mission is to educate, equip, and empower the next generation to tackle the challenges they face both inside and outside the classroom, and the organization describes itself as Montgomery County’s trusted partner at every academic milestone.

APLUS Education (formerly APLUS Learning Center) was founded in, based in, and serves the Montgomery County, MD community, and its instructors and administrators are described as experts in the Montgomery County school system.
