Forcey Day Camp

Forcey Day Camp is a gospel-centered, activities-based day camp ministry of Forcey Bible Church. Campers take part in weekly field trips and twice weekly pool outings. The program also includes Discovery Zone, where campers sing Bible songs, watch skits, and hear Bible teaching, along with SPOT UP small groups, song time, and additional skits during Discovery Zone.

Forcey Day Camp serves children who have completed kindergarten up to those who have completed 6th grade. The camp has a dedicated committee that meets year-round to improve the camp and oversee details such as determining the vision, hiring staff, and assisting with different areas of the camp. Forcey Day Camp has been a gospel-centered, activities-based day camp ministry of Forcey Bible Church for almost 50 years. Its mission statement is that Forcey Day Camp is a gospel-centered, activities-based day camp ministry of Forcey Bible Church.

The leadership team includes Mr. Garrett Bradley as Director; Ms. Trish Cavander, who served as Assistant Director of Day Camp from 2021–2022; and Mrs. Kelly Herndon, Director of My Day Out at Forcey Bible Church and former Assistant Director from 2008–2011. It also includes Rev. AJ Itzel, Pastor of Youth and Young Adults at Forcey Bible Church and Forcey Day Camp Director from 2020–2022, and Rev. Mike Maslin, Associate Pastor at Forcey Bible Church, who was Director of Forcey Day Camp from 2007–2012 and Acting Director for summer 2015. Staff credentials include Mr. Garrett running Forcey 360, the before and after-care program for Forcey Christian School; Ms. Trish serving as a 1st grade teacher at Forcey Christian School; Mrs. Kelly serving as Director of My Day Out, a program for 2- and 3-year-olds at Forcey Bible Church; Rev. AJ serving as Pastor of Youth and Young Adults at Forcey Bible Church; and Rev. Mike serving as an Associate Pastor at Forcey Bible Church.
