Go Crazy Camps offers sports, games, art, nature and makerspace-based activities, water activities including WATER PLAY, movement, learning, and Fitness/Jump Rope. Drama campers can design, build, paint, and bring to life the set of Roald Dahl's Willy Wonka Kids and operate the lighting, sound system, and set pieces during the show.
• Ages: 4–12 years old
• Schedule: Go Crazy Camp runs the month of July in weekly sessions from June 29–July 31, with most camps running 9:00 am–3:00 pm and TOTS Camp running 9:00 am–1:00 pm.
• Price: Before and after care prices vary by week and options; camp costs range from $220–$380 for TOTS, Sports, Day, Art, Primary, and STEM Camps, and from $330–$660 for Drama Camp roles including actor/actress, set design, and stage crew.
Go Crazy Camp was established in 2019. The program offers a variety of camps for campers from the school ages of PreK up to future 7th grade. Each week of Sports Camp offers different sports and games, and each week of Art Camp explores different art concepts and is run by Mrs. Howell.
Day Camp includes rotations through sports, games, art, and nature/makerspace-based activities. Primary Camp is geared and designed for campers ready for a full day of camp with activities geared specifically for their age and offers WATER PLAY every day, weather permitting. TOTS Camp is geared towards movement, learning, and building future skills for school and camp, includes weekly themes (Fairy Tales, Animals, Science, Community Helpers), and TOTS campers eat their packed lunch at camp.
Go Crazy Camp runs five weeks: Week 1 (June 29–July 2, no camp Friday July 3), Week 2 (July 6–10), Week 3 (July 13–17), Week 4 (July 20–24), and Week 5 (July 27–31). The cast for first session Drama Camp must commit to 10 full days from July 6–17, and the cast for second session Drama Camp must commit to 10 full days from July 20–31. Set Design campers for each session can sign up for one week (July 6–10 for first session, July 20–24 for second session), and Stage Crew runs July 13–17 for first session and July 27–31 for second session and is not considered part of the cast.
Drama Camp first and second sessions both present Roald Dahl's Willy Wonka Kids. The first session performance is Friday, July 17, and the second session performance is Friday, July 31, and both shows are open to the public. All families for second session Drama Camp receive 2 free tickets for each show, and Set Design and Stage Crew families for second session are guaranteed 2 free tickets to the July 31 show. Set Design and Stage Crew for first session are guaranteed tickets to the July 17 show as well as 2 additional free tickets for families.
Before care runs 8:30–9:00 am and after care runs 3:00–4:00 pm for camps where it is offered. Sports, Day, Art, Primary, STEM, and second session Drama Camps run 9:00 am–3:00 pm, TOTS Camp runs 9:00 am–1:00 pm, and first session Drama Camp runs 8:30 am–2:30 pm. Primary Camp families are instructed to pack a towel and swimwear each day for WATER PLAY, and TOTS Camp campers eat their packed lunch at camp.
