Keith Van Eron Pro Soccer Camps offers soccer, indoor soccer, goalie camps, flag football, lacrosse for girls and boys, wiffleball, badminton, ultimate frisbee, and all sports summer camp activities. The program also runs soccer leagues, KinderKicks, birthday parties, and a Junior Counselor Program. Some sessions include time at Sky Zone and an optional trip to Hershey Park.
• Ages: 3–17 years old
• Schedule: Weekly morning, afternoon, and full-day camps from June 3 to August 30, with single-day and full-week options; goalie camps run Monday–Friday in weekly sessions.
• Price: Morning Half Day $225/week or $85/day; Afternoon Half Day $325/week or $105/day (Wednesday $225); Full Day $425/week or $125/day (Wednesday $225, pizza option $450/week); Goalie Camps $325/week.
Keith Van Eron states that every young person who comes to his camp is very special to him, and that his number one goal is for each camper to have fun playing soccer and to feel good about themselves. He explains that if the sport is fun, the work to become good will take care of itself, and notes that even when he played professionally, practice and competitions were always fun and led him to spend many hours perfecting his skills. He also says he likes to think the camp teaches more than soccer skills, that attitude on the field is directly related to attitude in life, and that he wants young people to never ever give up. The program notes that in over 40 years they have never canceled a day of camp, and that in case of inclement weather they will rent buses and go to indoor facilities for soccer. The camp uses awards to keep kids motivated, offers trophies on Fridays for Morning Half Day Camps, and includes trophies and a Parent/Camper game on Fridays for Full Day Camps. An optional trip to Hershey Park is offered on Wednesdays for Full Day Camps, and 6 Flags is included with Wednesday registration as well as full-week Afternoon Half Day registration, with a morning half day camp offered on Wednesdays for campers who do not go to 6 Flags. The Junior Counselor Program is for 8th graders and older and includes 6 weeks of summer camp at 50% off and a guaranteed job the following summer if the participant is successful in the program. Birthday Party Packages are available with three choices to fit different budgets. The program states that weather cancellations are posted on the website banner and available via voicemail, that all sales are final with no refunds and that credits may be applied to other Keith Van Eron programs within one year under stated conditions, and that in rare instances continued behavioral issues can be a reason for dismissal with no refunds or camp credit.
