Brookside Nature Center Programs & Events include activities such as Shady Hike, Turtle Talk, Evening Campfire: Bats, Creature Feature, Make & Take: Tie-Dye, and Afternoon at the Stream. The program also notes that there is limited availability for campfire rentals, school trip reservations, and birthday parties due to ongoing renovations. A GRIT Chair is available by reservation for use during nature center hours.

Montgomery Parks encourages and supports the participation of individuals with disabilities, and GRIT Chair reservations must be made by calling at least five days before the anticipated visit.
