Casco Bay Movers Young Dancers Program

Casco Bay Movers Young Dancers Program offers Dance With Me for children ages walking through 4 years, with caregivers actively participating in the class. It also offers Dance Imagination 1 & 2, Pre-Ballet, Pre-Modern, Hippity Hop, and Combo Classes; Pre-Ballet, Pre-Modern, Hippity Hop, and Combo Classes are generally for children enrolled in kindergarten or first grade.

About the provider

Founded in 1983, the program says its Young Dancers Program is a thoughtfully designed curriculum that offers developmentally appropriate, concept-based education. Portland Youth Dance, CBM’s resident non-profit youth company, offers several scholarships annually to qualified applicants.

• Auditions for the 2026/2027 Season — Auditions will be held on Saturday, September 12, from 1-3 pm.
• Registration deadline for free audition — Register for the FREE audition by Thursday, September 10th.

All of our semester or year-long classes will have the opportunity to perform in the studio’s annual Spring Concert. The concert is traditionally held at the Westbrook Performing Arts Center. Tuition, registration fees, and costume payments are nonrefundable and nontransferable. Absence from class is non-refundable. Make-up classes are allowed in another class of the same age/level or below. Students may opt out of performing by notifying the front desk in writing by December 31st.
