Spinning Dot Theatre Youth Programs

Spinning Dot Theatre Youth Programs include dance that begins with the joy of movement and explores creative techniques in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, Musical Theatre, and Modern. The program features Bounce Dot, which focuses on these specific dance styles as part of its activities.

Spinning Dot Theatre launched in August 2014 with the goal to make great global theatre to inspire and connect audiences with the rest of the world. The organization includes a daring and dynamic group of young artists who create, dissect, and perform international theatrical works. A group of talented and engaged professional theatre artists, the Repertory Company has performed in many productions from around the world. Spinning Dot Theatre has presented award-winning international playwright Martin Baltscheit’s Only A Day. Its community involvement includes participation in the Brighton Arts and Culture Commission Children's Summer Series and events at the Ann Arbor District Library Downtown Location. Additional features include the Spinning Soiree annual event and the Spin It Forward Campaign with a goal to raise $15,000. One testimonial described a production as “crazily inventive, beautifully adapted, serious, moody theatre…it was pure magic,” from Carla Milarch, Artistic Director at Theatre Nova.
