About

Spinning Dot Theatre Youth Programs features dance that begins with the joy of movement and explores creative techniques in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, Musical Theatre, and Modern. The program includes a daring and dynamic group of young artists who create, dissect, and perform international theatrical works, alongside a group of talented and engaged professional theatre artists in the Repertory Company who have performed in many productions from around the world. Spinning Dot Theatre will continue to offer experiences for young performers and audiences that create space for imagination, courage, and connection.

Spinning Dot Theatre launched in August 2014 with the goal to make great global theatre to inspire and connect audiences with the rest of the world. The leadership contact for the program is Jenny, who can be reached at [email protected], and families for whom a few complimentary tickets would help with attendance are invited to email her to arrange this. The organization has a goal to raise $15,000 to “keep the world spinning with creativity and possibility.” A related community event is scheduled for Saturday, February 21, 2026, from 6–8 PM at The Neutral Zone, where kids attend for free and tickets will be on sale soon. One testimonial describes the work as “crazily inventive, beautifully adapted, serious, moody theatre…it was pure magic,” from Carla Milarch, Artistic Director at Theatre Nova.
