Techniq Group Swimming offers private swim lessons, swim clinics, video analysis, and a technical development program for swimmers aged 7–12 called “Take Your Mark.” The program also offers clinics for high school aged swimmers, an adult swim training group, adult programs, and private swim coach consulting. Video analysis can be done through a booked taping or by submitting a video from anywhere in the world.

Owner and founder Jeff Gross leads Techniq Group Swimming. The coaching staff includes expert stroke technicians such as Coach Danielle Tansel, Coach Ali Deloof, Coach Jeff Gross, Coach Katlynn Emaus, Coach Sarah Zietlow, Coach Tai Furnari, Coach Zach Beckwith, and Coach Lindsay Balazer. Clinics are capped at only 16 swimmers. Techniq Group Swimming serves the greater Ann Arbor, Michigan swim community.
Coach Danielle Tansel has coached multiple Olympians, NCAA Champions, and a World Record breaker, has been an NCAA Division I coach at several universities, is Co-Director of Michigan Swim Camp, was Assistant Coach at the 2016 FINA Open Water World Cup, and is a NASM Certified Personal Trainer, TRX Suspension Trainer, and former college swimmer at the University of Notre Dame. Coach Ali Deloof has over 10 years of private instruction experience, placed 4th at the 2016 USA Olympic Trials in the 100 Backstroke, is a five-time medalist at FINA Short Course Worlds, a World Record breaker in the 4 x 50 SCM Medley Relay, an American Record holder in the 50 SCM Back, and a former University of Michigan swimmer, 2-time NCAA All-American, 2-time All Big-Ten, and Big-Ten Champion in the 400-yard free relay. Coach Jeff Gross has 20 years of coaching experience from learn-to-swim to national qualifiers, has coached USA Swimming National, Junior National, and NCSA finalists, served as Head Coach of Saline Swim Team from 2013–2019, oversaw that team’s rise to a top 2 finish at the Michigan Open State Meet, coached Michigan state record holders and nationally ranked age group swimmers, and was Assistant Head Coach of Hong Kong Island Stingrays.
Coach Katlynn Emaus is a private instructor and clinician, a former Division I swimmer at Oakland University, a 2-time Academic All American in the 100 and 200 breaststroke, 2-time Academic Athlete of the Year at Oakland University, 2019 Horizon League Woman of the Year, a finalist for NCAA Woman of the Year 2019, and an assistant coach at Pioneer High School, a 6-time state champion team. Coach Sarah Zietlow is a private instructor, former collegiate swimmer at Eastern Michigan and Wayne State, 5-time NCAA All-American, NCAA Division II champion in the 200 medley relay (backstroke), CSCAA Scholar All-American First Team, former Head Coach of Tecumseh Tigersharks (2016–2022) and Tecumseh High School (2018–2022), and a previous club coach with Saline Swim Team and Club Wolverine. Coach Tai Furnari is a private and group instructor, collegiate swimmer at Wayne State University, 9-time GLIAC conference finalist, 2-time GLIAC All-Academic and All-Academic Excellence Team member, D2 ADA Academic Achievement Award recipient (2018–19), and has over 5 years of coaching experience including roles with Dearborn Recreational Dolphins, Woodbrooke Hills Swim Club (Head Coach), and Greater Evansville Aquatic Team.
Coach Zach Beckwith is a private instructor and clinician, former collegiate swimmer at Calvin College, University of Michigan Swim Camp assistant coach, has 5 years of private coaching experience, has coached with Pinckney Aquatic Club (2018–2024) and Pinckney Middle School (2019–2023), and serves as a Techniq Group lead group coach. Coach Lindsay Balazer is a private instructor, 4-year varsity swimmer at the University of Michigan (1999–2003), Big Ten finalist in the 1650 freestyle, coach of Skyline High School Swim Team (2018–2023), coach at Huron Valley Swim Club (2018–present), triathlete since 2017, and instructor with Wolverine Swim Clinics.
