Techniq Swim Academy offers private swim lessons, one-on-one swim coaching, stroke clinics, team training, technique training, open water skills, youth competitive development, video analysis, and group training. The program provides age-appropriate technique training for elementary through high school swimmers and includes a youth competitive development program called “Take Your Mark” for ages 7–12 and a progressive technique program called “The Middle Lane” for middle school swimmers.

The leadership team includes Jeff Gross as Founder, Owner, Manager, and Private Instructor, and Danielle Tansel as Consultant Co-Director of Michigan Swim Camp. Staff credentials include Jeff Gross with 20 years of coaching experience from learn-to-swim to national qualifiers and former Head Coach of Saline Swim Team; Danielle Tansel, an NCAA Division I coach, Consultant Co-Director of Michigan Swim Camp, coach of multiple Olympians, NCAA champions, and a world record breaker, and former University of Notre Dame swimmer; and Ali DeLoof, a clinician, world record breaker in the 4 x 50 SCM medley relay, American record holder in the 50 SCM backstroke, 4th place finisher at the 2016 USA Olympic Trials, and University of Michigan swimmer from 2012 to 2016. Additional staff include Lindsay Johnson, a private instructor, 4-year varsity swimmer at the University of Michigan, Big Ten finalist in the 1650 freestyle, coach at Skyline High School and Huron Valley Swim Club, and triathlete; Tai Furnari, a private and group instructor, collegiate swimmer at Wayne State University, 9-time GLIAC conference finalist, 2-time GLIAC All-Academic, with over 5 years of coaching experience; and Sarah Zietlow, a private instructor, 5-time NCAA All-American, NCAA Division II champion in the 200 medley relay, CSCAA Scholar All-American First Team member, and former head coach of Tecumseh Tigersharks and Tecumseh High School. The staff also includes Kris Goodrich, a private instructor, US Para Swimming Head Coach for the 2023 Para Pan Am Games, Assistant Coach for the 2024 Paris Paralympics, coach with over 30 years of experience, USMS Level 3 Certified Coach, with a BS in Movement Science from the University of Michigan; and Nick Stone, a private instructor, coach of NCAA Division III champions, record holders, and Olympic Trials qualifiers, former NCAA Division I assistant coach at Eastern Michigan, NCAA Division III head coach at Albion College with 2 MIAA titles and 14 All-Americans, and holder of an M.S. in Sport Psychology from Ithaca College.
