About
Boreal FC Recreational Programs include a recreational soccer program with Spring League, Summer League – 4v4, Fall League – 4v4, and a SoccerFest tournament-style game day. The program is developed to teach soccer fundamentals, skills, ball handling, knowledge of the game, sportsmanship, team play, and create a love of the game of soccer. SoccerFest is a tournament-style game day where kids participate in two games and receive a participation award or medal.
• Ages: 4–17 years old
• Schedule: Spring and summer seasons include two weekly sessions combining skills and game play, with U4–U6 sessions lasting 45 minutes and U8–U13+ sessions lasting one hour; Summer League – 4v4 and Fall League – 4v4 sessions are scheduled on weekday evenings and Saturday mornings on specific dates.
• Price: U4–U6 $99.00 per season; U8–U13+ $125.00 early bird or $140.00 after January 1, 2026; multi-season bundles $275 for U4–U6 and $359 for U8–U12; Fall 4v4 registration $110.00 including jersey and socks.
The recreational soccer program serves over 1,600 boys and girls from multiple nearby communities, with players participating in their community-based area. The fall recreational program uses a 4v4 mini soccer format with teams of up to 8 players and 4 on the field when playing, and Fall 4v4 teams are co-ed for U4 through U12. Some sites may travel once to another location, such as between Princeton and Zimmerman, if needed for balanced play, with all teams at a site traveling on the same day. A multi-season bundle option for Spring, Summer, and Fall allows families to register for all three recreation seasons at once at a discounted rate when they sign up during Spring registration.
Boreal FC is open to ages 4–17 and operates both competitive and recreational pathways, including multiple levels of competitive play with an elite level focused on competing across the region and nationally. The organization is the result of a merger between Three Rivers Soccer Association and North Metro Soccer Association, which began operating under the new name BOREAL Futbol Club starting Fall 2020. The mission states that the club is committed to developing players of all ages and levels, focusing on technical and tactical elements of the game and sportsmanship, and that the recreational program is designed to allow players to play within their community during two seasonally based programs.
