Elk River Youth Baseball offers travel baseball, house league baseball, youth baseball clinics, and umpiring, along with fall and winter indoor training. Players can take part in off-season baseball training, winter indoor training, fall indoor training, and fall/winter training, as well as pre-tryout training sessions, travel tryouts, house evaluations, and travel team tournaments. The program also runs specific events such as the IceBreaker Tournament, the 14A Invitational Tournament, a House Jamboree, a House End-of-Year Tournament, and a Saints Spotlight Game.
• Ages: 8–15 years old
• Schedule: The typical travel baseball season runs from April through the middle of July, with travel leagues typically consisting of 16 regular season games played during the week, playoffs at the end of the year, 3 to 4 weekend tournaments, and 1–2 practices per week.
• Price: Parents can expect to pay approximately $200 in additional team, tournament, and team expense fees after a player is placed on a travel team; a non-refundable tryout fee of $50 is collected during registration; travel jerseys are approximately $50, pants cost around $25–50, and hats are included with registration.

Elk River Travel Baseball plays in the Gopher State League (MYAS) for its 9U–15U age groups, and information on rules and equipment requirements for this league can be found on the MYAS website, along with MYAS Travel Bat Standards. Traveling players are required to purchase a travel uniform, with jerseys approximately $50, pants around $25–50, and hats included with registration. Travel field schedules are managed through a Google Sheets scheduling sheet shared with Travel Head Coaches, and travel league grade requirements are specified for 9U through 15U based on school grade.
For age groups 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, and 15 years old, there will be at least one Elk River travel team, with most age groups having a second and possibly a third travel team depending on registration numbers and ability, and players not making a travel team are automatically placed in a competitive house league. Travel team eligibility requires residency in Elk River or attendance at school in the Elk River area district, with charter school players determined by address. Players committing to Elk River Youth Baseball travel teams are required to make their ERYB team their top sports commitment during the baseball season and agree not to play for any other baseball team during the ERYB season from May 1 through the end of the season, including state tournaments, unless an exception is approved.
Elk River Youth Baseball is a strong proponent of multi-sport athletes and encourages participation in hockey, football, basketball, and other sports that develop overall athletic and team participation skills. Elk River Baseball is the only local baseball organization supported, endorsed, and integrated with the Elk River High School Baseball coaches and players, and a thank you is given to the University of St. Thomas trainers and players for dedicating their time and expertise to the youth athletes. The website is powered by SportsEngine's Sports Relationship Management (SRM) software and is owned by and subject to the Elk River Youth Baseball privacy policy.
Travel coach applications must be submitted prior to March 2, and travel coaches are interviewed in February and March. Elk River Youth Baseball will select head coaches who are able to fully commit to their travel team from April through June, and those with other commitments during these months will only be eligible to be an assistant coach when possible.
