Elk River Youth Football Association

Elk River Youth Football Association offers tackle football along with several football-related camps and training options. Specific activities include the Vikings Youth Football Camp, the Elk Pride Youth Football Camp, Performance Training Camps held in winter, spring, and summer, and offseason coaching clinics for coaches.

The Vikings Youth Football Camp is a one-day, non-contact camp that runs on Tuesday, July 14th from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM, with check-in opening at 9:00 AM, and is open to boys and girls of all skill levels ages six to fourteen. For this camp, participants are encouraged to wear tennis shoes or cleats and athletic gear. The Elk Pride Youth Football Camp runs July 27th for 2nd–3rd and 6th–8th grades, July 28th for all 2nd–8th grades, and July 29th for 4th–8th grades, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM on all three days, and every camper receives an official Elk River Football practice jersey and an Elk Pride Youth Camp t-shirt. Performance Training Camps in winter, spring, and summer are designed specifically for Elk River Youth Football athletes in grades 2–8 for the 2025–26 school year. Offseason coaching clinics run from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on February 9th, March 9th, April 13th, May 11th, June 8th, July 13th, and August 3rd.

The Elk River Youth Football Association is a volunteer-run organization dedicated to offering young people in grades 2nd through 8th an opportunity to learn the fundamentals of tackle football, the value of teamwork and to have fun doing it. The Minnesota Vikings organization supports football at all levels by hosting free Vikings Youth Football Camps across the region each year.
