Apple Blossom Village states that its mission is to nurture joyful nature experiences for children and the community and to cultivate care for the earth and happier, healthier humans. The program states that it is committed to a learning environment of respect, honesty, and inclusion that celebrates differences beginning in early childhood. The curriculum includes world language and culture and an anti-bias curriculum that grows and deepens as the children grow, with a stated goal that each child feels connected to their own culture and traditions and that all children and families feel honored and respected. Apple Blossom Village also states a commitment to offering learning in an atmosphere of love, trust, and respect for all people.

Apple Blossom Village notes that its Nature School offers outdoor immersion all school year using authentic Mongolian yurts as classrooms, with yurts made mostly from natural and organic materials. The yurts are described as naturally breathing, easy to move and install, handmade works of art, and using felt insulation that keeps them warm in winter and cool in summer while being more energy efficient. The program offers Indigenous scholarships, payment plans, and sibling discounts, and Apple Blossom Gift Cards can be purchased for a family member or friend to attend an Apple Blossom program. The program also notes that it has immediate openings in its 3-day and 4-day Nature School Kindergarten.

Apple Blossom Village states that it nurtures joyful nature experiences for children and the community and shares outdoor space at the Rail River Folk School. The program includes a land acknowledgement that Apple Blossom is located in Mni Sota Makoce (Minnesota), the traditional homeland of the Ojibwa (Anishinaabe) and the Dakota (Sioux) people, and expresses gratitude and appreciation for the land while honoring the Dakota and Ojibwa people as its original protectors.
