First City Dance Studio

First City Dance Studio offers classes in tap, jazz, ballet, basic ballet, basic tumbling, creative moves, hip hop, lyrical, musical theater, stretching and toning, Mommy & Me, Tiny Tappers, and Fairy Ballerinas. The studio provides a Multiple Exposure class, a combo class that combines either tap and ballet or tap and jazz, a Mommy & Me class, and a Tiny Tappers/Fairy Ballerinas class. Classes range from beginner to advanced and include both recreational and competitive dance programs.

• Ages: 1–18 years old
• Schedule: Month-to-month classes from September through June, with summer dance camps in July and August; Multiple Exposure is a 45-minute class, and tap, ballet, and jazz are each one-hour classes
• Price: Rubber bands and bobby pins can be purchased for .25¢

All dance-wear required in class is available at the studio store located in the lobby, and only dance shoes are allowed on the dance floors. Loose jewelry or watches are not to be worn in any dance class, and teachers reserve the right to dismiss any student from the lesson if they are not properly dressed. Each class type has a specific dress code, including tight fitting dance attire for Multiple Exposure and combo classes, black leotards with pink tights and pink ballet shoes for ballet, creative but not baggy attire and no street shoes on the studio floor for hip hop, and solid color leotards with specific tights and shoe guidelines for lyrical and musical theater.
