Brainerd Basketball Association

Brainerd Basketball Association offers Warrior Elite Training Sessions, an In House League, travel teams, and travel coaching for youth basketball players. The program also runs the Warrior Shot Club and organizes events such as a Golf Tournament and the Paul Bunyan Classic Tournament.

• Ages: 5–18 years old
• Schedule: 30th Annual Paul Bunyan Classic in 2027, with boys 3rd–8th grade playing February 6–7, 2027, and girls 3rd–8th grade playing February 13–14, 2027

The Brainerd Basketball Association is a community-based volunteer organization and the home of Warrior Basketball. It is a comprehensive K–12 program within the Brainerd School District that focuses on building basketball players from the ground up with direction from the Brainerd Boys & Girls Varsity basketball coaches. The program is open to boys and girls at all grade levels who attend school in the Brainerd School District and want to learn, improve, and compete. The association is a member of the Minnesota Youth Basketball Alliance (MYBA) and follows its Team Composition Guidelines for its travel teams. The 30th Annual Paul Bunyan Classic will be held in 2027, and families are directed to contact Ellen Thomes to register.
