Madden's Junior Golf Programs are led by Cody Mager, Head Golf Professional at The Classic at Madden’s, Hank Sogge, Assistant Golf Professional at The Classic at Madden’s, and lead instructors Chris Foley and Gavin Metz, with Deb Madden Thuringer as part of the ownership team at Madden’s on Gull Lake. Madden’s states that its mission is to provide each student with a customized improvement plan designed around the student’s goals, ability level, and physical fitness, with a teaching style that is fun, relaxing, and shows real improvement without overwhelming the student. The program offers co-ed sessions at 8:30am and 11:30am and a girls-only 10:00am session for certain programs, and the High Performance Summer Program is described as designed for the current or future high school or college golfer. Madden’s partners with Chris Foley Golf Schools to offer extended instruction options for juniors, ladies, and adults, and is a partner of Youth on Course, which allows junior golfers with a Youth on Course card to play specified Madden’s courses for $5 at certain times. Madden’s notes that it has over 95 years of history, offers more recreational amenities than any other resort in the Midwest, and features the area’s only lakeside spa at The Spa at Madden’s.
