I Got Skills Soccer offers Minnesota soccer and futsal technical training and programs for players of all levels from ages 4–18. The program teaches off the ball movement and works on improving players’ soccer “vision” and ability to make quick decisions. Speed and Agility training is included to make players faster, stronger, and more agile. The program states that it is about promoting self confidence through soccer and has a mission of developing confidence and character through soccer.

I Got Skills Soccer was founded by Jason Popkin. In 2008, founder Jason Popkin had a vision to “Promote and improve the game of soccer.” In 2011, recognizing a need for technical skills development, Hawaii Street Soccer became I Got Skills and launched its first youth soccer camp. Over the years, I Got Skills has hosted small sided tournaments and leagues and continues to promote pick up games. The program describes itself as the first and only soccer camp in Hawaii to focus on individual player needs and calls itself “The #1 Soccer Camp in Hawaii.”

Parent and community feedback includes comments such as: “I Got Skills provides a nurturing environment for passionate young soccer players to focus on developing their technical skills” (Jeremiah Johnson, Lakeville, MN). Another parent says, “My son loves this program and coach Jason! I also think this is an amazing program and a great place to start learning or bettering your foot skills, building relationships and learning about what it means to be a part of a team and work together! It is overall a great program for kids of all ages at all levels!” (Millie Guadalajara, Eagan, MN). Other feedback notes that players are “learning and able to practice until mastery” and becoming “a much more confident and dynamic futsal and soccer player” (Brandon Scholl, St Paul Park, MN), that “the kids love to learn the skills, and have fun playing with friends!” (Sophal Yin, Eagan, MN), and that “The camp was a great tune-up for the boys prior to the Kirk Banks Tournament. The boys ended winning the U10 boys championship” (Christina Boyea-Quiton, Aiea, HI).
