Minnesota Timberwolves & Lynx Basketball Academy

Minnesota Timberwolves & Lynx Basketball Academy offers practice court skills clinics, high-energy drills, summer camps, and youth experiences that include playing a game on the Target Center court. The program also offers fan experiences at Timberwolves and Lynx home games and high school experiences on the NBA hardwood. Practice court skills clinics and summer camps are available for both boys and girls in specific grade ranges, and participants receive tickets to select Lynx games and other items as part of these offerings.

• Ages: 8–13 years old

The practice court skills clinics are advanced sessions for 3rd through 7th grade boys and girls and are described as fun, challenging, and highly engaging. These clinics focus on court skills and provide an opportunity for players to improve their skills, and all participants receive two tickets to a Lynx game. Summer camps are open to boys and girls entering 3rd through 7th grade, bring big energy, include skill-building drills and plenty of game time in a positive, supportive environment, and every camper receives a camp T-shirt and two tickets to a select Lynx game. The academy runs these activities on the Minnesota Timberwolves & Lynx practice court and at The Courts at Mayo Clinic Square. The program states that it is proud to make a positive impact on the community and to be champions of change.
