The Minneapolis Youth Baseball Association is a non-profit organization operated by volunteers who are passionate about teaching kids to play baseball. Its goal is to place kids at a level of competition that best supports their long-term development and reaffirms their love of baseball. It fields the Minneapolis Millers Travel Teams for players in 3rd through 9th grade (9U–14/15U), operates a House League development recreational program for players in kindergarten through 4th grade, and has expanded the House League to include the Oliva League for 5th and 6th graders. Travel Teams are divided into three skill levels (AAA, AA, A), House League development teams compete in recreational leagues at the coach pitch and kid pitch levels, and Oliva League teams compete in-house as a bridge between rec league and travel league.

Within the House League (formerly known as Mini Millers), the Carew League is for kindergarten or 1st grade, players in 2nd grade are placed in either the Carew League or Killebrew League depending on evaluation, the Killebrew League is for 3rd or 4th grade, and the Oliva League is for 5th or 6th grade. Scholarships are available. The association has received grants from the Minnesota Twins and Hennepin County, and teams compete in the Metro Baseball League. Fundraising uses the FlipGive app to raise money for Millers teams; each 12U team family joins their player’s team in FlipGive with proceeds going toward team fundraising for out-of-state tournaments and other qualifying items, while all other teams fundraise for their combined age group in general via FlipGive.

In-House League Commissioners are Noah Lauricella and Parvati Scatena, with a contact email of [email protected]. Questions or interest in board positions are directed to Dave Oehler, and Marketing & Communications is handled by Jess Sutherland. Current MYBA Board positions available include Secretary and Operations Director: Scheduling Coordinator. The organization maintains a monthly newsletter archive from December 2024 through February 2026. Its website is powered by SportsEngine's Sports Relationship Management (SRM) software and is owned by and subject to the Minneapolis Youth Baseball Association privacy policy.
