About

Future Stars Soccer Association offers Winter Futsal Sessions and U8–U10 “Skill Builders” that include dribbling, passing, ball control, and shooting. Players take part in individual drills, small group activities, games, small-sided activities, small-sided scrimmages, combination plays, playing team defense, and working on offensive shape. The program also runs Summer Camps that include skill development through technical sessions and game-type activities, camp games with skill competitions and small-sided tournaments, a focus on shooting technique and outcome, denying goals with plenty of live shots from strikers, and work on conditioning and the technical and tactical aspects of the game.

It states that it teaches life skills using the game as a catalyst to help develop technical and tactical skills, aims to create a robust, sustainable set of programs for kids of all ages, races, genders, and financial backgrounds, seeks to empower youth beyond the status quo, and aims to produce the next intercity soccer tournament. Through recreation, it states that youth are equipped with necessary skills to build a strong relationship with their families.

The program also runs “Cleats for Africa,” which states that kids who play soccer in Africa will have a pair of soccer cleats, and invites others to join in empowering kids in their area and making a difference together.
