Boys & Girls Clubs of the Twin Cities offers Academic Success, STEAM, Career Launch, Money Matters, Best Buy Teen Tech Center, Kids Feeding Kids, Passport to Manhood, SMART Girls, Sports, Triple Play, and Voyageur. Its activities include career exploration, educational enhancement, literacy, finance, arts, technology, daily meals, cooking classes, gardening, health and fitness activities, nutrition, and daily physical activity.
Programs
- Academic Success — Assists young people to succeed in academics. Programs provide opportunities for career exploration, educational enhancement, and augmented learning in literacy, finance, arts, and technology.
- STEAM
- Career Launch — 13-18 · A career exploration and mentoring program for teens.
- Money Matters — 13-18 · A financial literacy program designed specifically to help teens expand their knowledge of money management and learn the skills that lead to financial independence and well-being.
- Best Buy Teen Tech Center
- Kids Feeding Kids — Provides daily meals, cooking classes, and gardening opportunities.
- Passport to Manhood — 8-17 · Promotes and teaches responsibility to boys.
- SMART Girls — A small-group health, fitness, prevention/education and self-esteem enhancement program designed to meet the developmental needs of girls in three age groups.
- Sports — The Clubs offer numerous sports leagues and active opportunities for Club members.
- Triple Play — 6-18 · A health and wellness program that strives to improve overall health by increasing daily physical activity, teaching good nutrition, and helping youth develop healthy relationships.
- Voyageur — A year-round Environmental Education Center located in Mound, Minnesota. It runs a residential summer camp for Club members, and Club members also visit on weekends and school release days.
