Boys & Girls Club of the Twin Cities

Boys & Girls Clubs of the Twin Cities offers programs that include academic support in literacy, finance, arts, and technology. The program also includes activities that address fitness, nutrition, and decision-making, along with character, leadership, and service learning opportunities for members.

The stated North Star goal of Boys & Girls Clubs of the Twin Cities is that all members are on track for a successful future beyond high school graduation. Its Academic Success strategy includes career exploration, educational enhancement, and augmented learning in literacy, finance, arts, and technology. Its Healthy Lifestyles strategy includes education about fitness, nutrition, smart decisions, positive conflict resolution techniques, positive behaviors, personal goal setting, and resistance skills. Its Life & Workforce strategy includes character, leadership, and service learning opportunities, and programs that encourage youth to develop planning and decision-making skills while supporting and influencing their Club and community. The organization lists a leadership team that includes senior program directors, program directors, and branch directors at multiple Club locations, including Jerry Gamble, Camden High School, Olson Middle School, John W. Hardeman III at V3 Sports, Southside Village, Little Earth, East Side, Mt. Airy, Al Lenzmeier West Side, Richfield Middle School, Voyageur and Environmental Center, and Elk River. Some Club locations are open only to specific school students, such as Camden High School Boys & Girls Club, Olson Middle School Boys & Girls Club, and Richfield Middle School Boys & Girls Club.
