Mu Explorations Camp

Mu Explorations Camp is connected with Theater Mu, which produces performances rooted in the Asian American experience. The program is part of an organization that focuses on arts, equity, and justice in its theater work.

• Schedule: Office hours are Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. CT, and program hours run Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Theater Mu was established in 1992 and is co-led by Fran de Leon and Anh Thu T. Pham. Its mission is to produce performances born of arts, equity, and justice from the heart of the Asian American experience. Theater Mu is a founding member of the Twin Cities Theatres of Color Coalition, alongside New Native Theatre, Pangea World Theater, Penumbra, Teatro Del Pueblo, New Arab American Theater, and Ikidowin. Theater Mu states that it creates community, gives its artists a place to be seen and accepted, and shows audiences that their voices and experiences matter, and that through theater centered on the Asian American experience, it is working on building a more equitable world.
