About

Sanneh Free Community Camps offers free kids camps that include sports such as soccer, basketball, pickleball, golf, and mountain biking. Camps use a sporting curriculum and are led by trained coaches and mentors. These free community camps are about more than sports and are part of The Sanneh Foundation’s youth development work.

• Price: SANNEH’S FREE KIDS CAMPS give youth of all backgrounds the chance to play, learn, and grow in a fun, supportive environment.

The Sanneh Foundation’s mission is to empower youth, improve lives, and unite communities. Camps teach soccer skills, teamwork, and confidence at no cost to families while connecting youth to positive role models and new opportunities. The Sanneh Foundation serves the holistic youth development needs of the increasingly diverse Twin Cities metro area and incorporates guidance and information about health, education, drugs and alcohol, and cultural awareness and sensitivity into its camps, which promote an atmosphere of community through the universal excitement for sport.

The Sanneh Foundation has expanded its work over time, including starting programming at Conway in 2013, reaching 100 free sports camps during the summer in 2019, launching food distributions through its Nutritional Services program in 2020, and deepening its reach in the Twin Cities in 2025 by expanding flagship programs in education, mentorship, and sports-based life skills training. The organization is led by Founder and CEO Tony Sanneh, along with a leadership team that includes Brandon Griffin, Rassoul Dastmozd, PhD, Joanna Tzenis, Oskar Munoz Marroquin, Ying Vu, Crystal Flint, Whitney Larson, and Brian Nosan.
