Summer Dance Camps

Summer Dance Camps offer a variety of dance activities including Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary, Tap, Hip Hop, Lyrical, Acrobatic Dance, Pre-school Dance, Aerial Silks, and Musical Theatre. These activities are held at DanceWorks Performing Arts & Vancouver City Ballet, which features six studios equipped with sprung floors.

Founded in 1993, the program is led by Karen Cannon as Director and Chris Cannon as Operations Director. The mission is to train the whole dancer, enabling students to reach their highest standards of technique and artistry. The faculty is professionally trained, and the facility includes unique features like a student homework lounge, multiple viewing windows, and a boutique for dance wear and merchandise.
