Martin K. Alloy Boys & Girls Club of Manassas

Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Washington follows a Formula for Impact that focuses on academic success, good character, and healthy lifestyles. Across its 26 sites, the program uses high-yield learning activities, targeted programs, and regular attendance as part of this model. These sites serve as safe havens and are open when schools are not, offering an alternative to being home alone or on the street.

• Price: We welcome every child for a nominal annual membership fee, but will not turn any child away for inability to pay.

The mission of Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Washington is to help boys and girls of all backgrounds, especially those who need the program most, build confidence, develop character, and acquire the skills needed to become productive, civic-minded, responsible adults. BGCGW serves nearly 12,000 youth annually through regular Club membership and community outreach and uses five key elements for positive youth development: safety, fun, support, opportunity, and recognition. The organization holds a Charity Navigator 4-STAR rating. BGCGW is not affiliated with individuals or vendors who sell goods to raise money for its Clubs or related programs.
