About

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Monmouth County After-School Program includes life skills classes, sports, arts, STEAM, academics, workforce readiness, and leadership programs. Members also have access to swimming in the Club’s pool and exploring the world of computers. Snacks and dinner are served to every member in the after-school program.

• Ages: 5–18 years old
• Schedule: After-school program on weekdays from 2:30–6:00 p.m., with additional teen evening hours Tuesday–Thursday until 9:00 p.m. at the Asbury Park teen program

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Monmouth County After-School Program is open to all children ages 5 1⁄2–18. The organization describes itself as Monmouth County's leader in youth development and as a private non-profit organization that serves children that come from some of the most difficult circumstances in the county. It is a 501(c)(3) organization with a professionally licensed staff. As of 2026, it serves more than 1,800 children and teens at its units and school-based sites in Asbury Park, Red Bank, Neptune, and Long Branch. The mission of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Monmouth County is to empower all young people—especially those who need it most—to reach their full potential as productive, caring, and responsible citizens. The organization states that it provides a safe environment to learn and grow, fosters ongoing relationships with caring adult professionals, provides life-enhancing programs and character development experiences, and offers hope and opportunity. The leadership team includes a board with Adam Taylor named as the new Board President.
